VISIT TO THE AUCHAN LOCAL PRODUCER (PLANÍCIE VERDE)
We recently had the pleasure of receiving a visit from influencer @hero_to_0 at our facilities, where she had the opportunity to get a closer look at the process of producing the fresh vegetables and fruit that we offer to Auchan and other partners. The visit was a rich experience, full of insights into how large-scale agricultural production can be sustainable and responsible.
During the visit, we showed @hero_to_0 how we apply sustainable practices at every stage of production. From the use of auxiliary insects to control pests and reduce the use of pesticides, to the renewable energy that powers our greenhouses, our operation is designed to minimise environmental impact. In addition, we make a point of using 100 per cent recyclable plastic to cover the soil, ensuring that it is reused several times.
